Everyone gets a little lonely from time to time and when that happens, it can seem like the easiest solution would be to get a girlfriend, a woman you can spend your time with. The one catch that you have to deal with when you want to attract a girlfriend because you are lonely and you want to have a woman's company is... most women can sense this and it tends to act as a turn off and not a turn on. If you want to get a girlfriend, there are many things that you need to avoid and one of them is coming across as being too needy for one.

Men have a pretty hard time when it comes to dating. They are the ones that have to gear up and get the gall to make the move. They are the ones that are expected to make all of the moves and spend all of the money. And in the end, most of the time, all they can do is HOPE that the woman will feel the same way. Lots of times, it does not pan out that way, though.

Here are 3 things that you want to avoid that will actually help YOU to get a girlfriend:

1) Loneliness is not something that you want to project to a woman.

While she probably will feel for you, and think that it's kind of sad that you are a lonely guy... it's not going to make her want to date you. Yes, there are some women that this will not be a problem for, but overall, giving off the vibe of being too lonely is not the best way to go about getting a girlfriend. You want to seem like you DO have a good life, one that she might want to be a part of.

2) You cannot be afraid to make eye contact with a woman.

If you are the kind of guy who does not make eye contact with women, then that needs to change. See, that fear of making eye contact usually is due to the fear of being judged and that is just something that you need to deal with. When you don't make eye contact with a woman, it can make you seem shady or like you lack confidence in yourself. You don't want that to happen, do you?

3) You have to avoid trying to be too nice to 'make' her like you.

This is something that most guys will get wrong and then they wonder what is the deal with why they are not getting the kind of results with women that they want. Sure, you don't want to be a jerk to a woman and you don't have to. But, if you are trying too hard to make a woman like you, it's going to either come across as being too friend like, or like you are trying too hard with her.
