Where you should advertise involves a few important factors. First, remember that you always need to take your ideal bride into consideration for everything you do in marketing or advertising. So, in last weeks article, I even gave an example of how advertising in a dog magazine can be lucrative if you know your ideal bride to a T.

Its also been shown on sites like theweddingreport.com that brides frequent and book more from certain sites. For example, brides shop local sites (like city or city area) first and foremost for vendors. Brides feel like its easier to find what theyre actually looking for and vendors who serve the area where theyre getting married. Next, brides go to regional sites for help, and then nation-wide.

Now, even knowing where to advertise, you absolutely must know WHAT to advertise to see results in terms of brides booked. Most vendors make the mistake of trying to se11 in one or two sentences and cramming all their bells and whistles into a very small amount of advertising real estate. And, guess what? It doesnt work. Brides wont buy from your ad, but they will look further if you peak their interest (meaning they will go to your site to see more).

So how can you possibly stand out and get brides attention in such a small window of opportunity? Easy. Only promote one thing. One thing and one thing only. Your F*R*E*E juicy offer. Thats it. Youll be seen as a giver instead of a desperate vendor seeking to get more brides. And, youll be able to satisfy most brides need for instant gratification!

This also gives you the opportunity to market to brides repeatedly following a single advertisement. Using your e-zine (or e-newsletter) to market to brides following the ad is not only lucrative, its the smartest move you can make! Advertising in this manner yields more actual results and sa1es conversions than putting all your m.oney in a one-shot ad. Make sense? Its a LOT more realistic.

Now track your results to adapt, change and grow in your business as necessary. Its amazing to me how many business owners dont track any of their results to see if numbers-wise theyre really even getting what theyre paying dearly for. If you dont track it, you dont know if its actually working. For instance, if you know that 500 brides are visiting your website daily, and youre only booking two brides per month, something is seriously off. But how can you possibly know unless you have a tracking system. Try google analytics its f.ree to you and it can save you thousands in costly mistakes!
