How The Asian Business Association Is Connecting Students

Throughout the country there are people that have been working on their career and looking for inspirational support from a community of advisors and peers that share a common heritage. Like a chamber of commerce that promotes business exchanges between members the Asian Business Association is established to help individuals to connect to one another and support the professional progress of a diverse group of people. Hosting a series of mixers and events that provide opportunities to mingle and learn about another person's business, the ABA supports the needs of people that own businesses and those that are looking for employment.

For some individuals that come from an Asian heritage, there are ABA job opportunities that can be found within the organization that is building a strong foundation of professional, career minded people throughout the country. Having a central structure and individual chapters at universities across the country the ABA is a student governed entity that unites the common interests of the
Asian population by providing current and future job opportunities for those that are graduating from college and moving forward in their career plans. Generating success through the contacts with people in the corporate world, Asian business leaders are able to find and recruit the types of hardworking, intelligent individuals that are looking for a profitable position inside an established firm.

Starting out as a small gathering of about 40 students the current number of individuals that are part of the ABA has expanded to many campuses that are offering a chapter of the Asian Business Association is prominent schools throughout the country. For individuals that are looking for some camaraderie during and after their educational experience the ABA is helping to connect people that have come to the US for their studies as well as working with Asian-American students that want to gain the most from their heritage. Involving individuals from all over the Pacific Rim and across Asia, the various chapters of ABA America are welcoming people that are looking for business connections and social opportunities to meet other individuals that share their customs, beliefs and language.

As the organization continues to grow it is attracting the attention of businesses and corporations that can help individuals with job placement after graduation. Making it easier for networking opportunities to present them self to the people that are looking for work, the members of the ABA are expanding their non-profit organization to include more colleges that have not yet become part of an expanding network of students.
