Phobias are extreme forms of anxiety. Panic attacks are different. Panic attacks can arise spontaneously at times of stress and also times without any apparent stress in a persons life or mind. This can be achieved because under hypnosis, the mind has greater access to resources previously unavailable. More specifically, during the symptomatic hypnotic trance of a phobic reaction, a person has virtually zero access to inner strength and resources such as relaxation, mindfulness and even past memories and felt senses of feeling calm, confident and in control.

Well under hypnosis, it is entirely possible to retrain the back of your mind to access hidden positive memories and transfer the feelings over into future situations in which you are likely to be faced with a phobic response.
