How Robe Hooks Can Be Installed

By:

An interesting part about robe hooks is that they can be installed in a number of different ways. These processes can work in ways that range from screwing a hook on to simply sticking it on. Here are some of the installation processes that can be used for robe hooks.

The screw-on process is by far the most common process that can be handled for a hook. This works in that a series of screws will have to be installed onto a door or wall that the hook will be placed on. The screws will be drilled into a surface that is thick enough to handle the screws. This is a useful option in that it will be more durable and easier to handle. However, it is something that should only be used in cases where one plans on permanently installing a hook somewhere.

The next type of installation option involves using a stick-up process. This is where a hook can be attached to a wall or other surface through a sticky tape material. This is by far the easier installation process to deal with. All that a person would have to do here is to take a hook, remove an adhesive cover from the adhesive area and then stick the material onto the wall.

This is a convenient type of material for anyone who wants to use a convenient robe hook but does not want to deal with a bothersome installation process. The sticky material can lose its strength over time though. Also, it could leave a slight mark on a wall.

The third option is that of a suction hook. This is one of the most unique robe hooks in that it features a suction cup design on it. This design will work to get the hook affixed to the wall by pressed it hard onto the wall or door. Some of these robe hooks can be locked onto the surface with a special level that is built into the hook.

This is a convenient type of option because of how it will not leave a mark on the wall. It could come apart when heavy weight is applied to it though.

Be sure to consider all of these installation options. A hook to hang ones robe on can be easily applied in one of these three ways. They all have their benefits but they do have some risks.
