How Often Do You Use Your High Performance Blender?

By:

In today's kitchen there is hardly enough room for small residential appliances to be left on the counter space. That is why most kitchen-keepers put their residential appliances away when not needed. One study has revealed that over 60 percent of people are not using their small kitchen appliances. Does this perhaps have some association with the space and storage issue of where you put your blender and where to store it?

Have you ever wondered where to store your residential high performance blender when you do not need it? Some people keep their 2 hp or 3 hp blender permanently placed on one spot on the counter top. Most people store the blender on the top of their counter but back towards the wall immediately under a top cabinet. And others pack it up every time after usage and stash it in one of their cabinets, most likely one of those bigger ones that has more room.

A sound enclosure would come in handy when blending soup on a daily basis. After all, a high performance blender, such as the Vita Mix Vita Prep3 hp/1005, the Waring MX1200XT 3.5 hp blender, or the 3 hp Blendtec HP3A/Total Blenders pierce your ears between 92 dB to 102 dB when in use. But depending on the space allocation, whether permanent, semi-permanent, or a cabinet-storage-habit, the sound enclosure too will have to be stored. Ideally, you will have a dedicated place for blender and sound enclosure.

While over 50 percent of all high performance blender raw food enthusiasts seriously consider the sound enclosure as an important accessory to have, more than those really are blender-cabinet-stashers. And according to our study, we have found that exactly this group uses the blenders most likely the least. And of course, why would they want to have a sound enclosure if there is no place store, unless a permanent place is provided?

The ones that use the blender most likely more frequently, even on a daily basis, are those that actually see their blender every day. It may act as a reminder, saying: "hey there, I am here, I am waiting, may I help you with your soup today...?" But still, it is little more work to pull the blender forward from the back wall on the counter-top under the cabinet, place the container and fill the ingredients... And if you have a sound enclosure, that too will have to be put in place.

The most accessible blenders are definitely used the most often by raw enthusiasts, according our research. This may have something to do with the fact that the blender is not only visible, but also because it has a dedicated place that no other kitchen appliance can overtake. It's maybe like some secrete appliance war, the mixer versus juicer, versus blender, or bread machine. Really, what appliance should be the most important one?

When space in the kitchen present an issue, you either must choose between appliances which one is more often used, and leave hopefully the blender out, or you just have to stash it. In our experience however, it is not just a matter whether how easy it is to access your blender, but also a health matter. The more serious your intentions are to use your high performance blender, a permanent place for your blender will help you to use it more often. At least, place it on the semi-permanent location, under the cabinet.

Remember, the more often you use your high performance blender the greater your chances for health improvements are. You are hopefully not going to fall into the 60% group that never uses the blender. Why the heck would you want to spend $ 400 plus dollars anyway, and then not use this great equipment that will break down your ingredients into cellular level for improved digestion? Maybe, in that case, consider selling it on eBay.
