How new viruses and spyware can causing copyright issues
Many viruses, hoaxes and fake websites can infect your home or office pc with all sorts of spyware and malware. Many of these viruses duplicate the Microsoft Windows interface in order to gain the users trust and be able to install themselves into the computer making it very hard to remove since they do not have an uninstall option. Many of these malicious viruses, spywares, malwares and hoaxes go to the extreme to a point that they become very unprofessional and unfriendly.
When a virus copies Microsoft Windows icons and uses that to cause harm and steal personal information from the users computer, this virus is causing a major copyright infringement. All icons, logos and text displayed on the Microsoft products does not matter if it is Windows, Office or any other application is Copyrighted by Microsoft and cannot be copied duplicated or modified by any means. Says Aware Bear Computers owner Andre Leite Alves from Rochester NY.
Some of these programs go to the extreme by tricking the user into installing them with hopes that he or she is going to solve the problem but at the end they cause more problems when installed. Gets to a point where the computer gets frozen because they attract so much junk into the processes that the resources are totally gone. AwareBear creative depot Arthur Leite from Rochester NY states that these programs are causing major copyright infringement by using and duplicating icons, messages that are being manipulated to trick the end user into clicking and installing viruses into their computer.
In doubt do not install anything that you are not sure about it, you can always call a computer repair / computer service provider and ask to speak to a tech and ask him or her question. Many places see these types of things on a daily base and would be glad to answer any questions you might have, is always better to be safe than sorry.
On the long run that can save people time and money, the aggravation of having all the fake icons popping on your face when you need your pc for school or work alone is not worth the trouble. Many of these hoaxes are being spread thru the email. Be very careful opening things you do not know what they are. Another tip by Vinny P manager of Aware Bear Computers in Rochester NY is to be very careful about disclosing personal information to unknown websites that can lead to identity theft and unauthorized use of social security numbers, credit cards etc. Is very hard to monitor unauthorized use of personal information. Once the thieves get a hold of your information they will use over and over again.
Unauthorized use of personal information and identity theft is a growing concern among internet security experts all around the world. People have become experts on how to extort money from unsuspecting people by using the internet and email. They will use of ever resource they can that includes copyright infringement, unauthorized use of personal property that others hold copyright and email.
As our grandparents always said if it is too good to be true probably is, always use your common sense and caution when surfing the web, any questions you can always call a qualified computer repair / computer service tech that can answer any questions you might have. In case you got a virus unplug the internet cable from the PC and call someone qualified to help you with the problem. The longer you wait the worse it gets. These things will not go away a qualified tech is your best bet to clean them.
