Many people have questioned why such a wonderful liquid as water could be so deadly. Internally if the body is overloaded with unnecessary amounts of water, sodium, a natural mineral found in the body becomes so depleted that the body can no longer survive and will very simply collapse and die. Sodium is very important, just as water is for your survival.

Of course, it is important to realize that there are several factors to take into account when trying to determine when the amount of water being consumed may become problematic. Some considerations are the persons weight, BMI, overall health, and sodium content in their blood. Just was with any other health issue each body has its own distinctive limits and figuring out the exact formula can be near impossible.

Hydrating your body is one of the best and most important things that you can do for your body and yet over hydration can be deadly. It is important to make sure that you carefully monitor your water intake to make sure that you are supplying the body with the important water that it needs for sustenance without depleting the sodium necessary for life.
