The logistics of getting in touch with your courier company, while still allowing them enough time to schedule you for next day service can often be something that prevents companies from getting the kinds of pickup schedules that they want. This is why it is important for a company to know exactly when they have to call their Seattle courier service by in order to get their pickup made the next day. The thing to realize is that this time is different for every courier company. Couriers aren't like other businesses where you can automatically assume that they are open from 9 to 5 every day. They keep vastly different hours from each other. That is why you should always use that information to help you choose the right courier to ship your goods, as if you have shipping requests come in frequently later in the day, you're going to want to do business with a courier that is usually open later.

The first general guideline is that if you want any hope at all of having your package picked up the next day, you are going to have to call your courier company before they close for the night. Although many companies might have an emergency 24 hour or on call service, these aren't the numbers that you're going to want to call when scheduling a next day pickup. Usually though, the cut off time for scheduling a pickup for the next day is going to be several hours before the closing time of the courier company. That way, the courier has time to incorporate the new order into their scheduled routes, making sure that all the plans are laid out for their drivers in the morning.

There are couriers which do operate on a 24 hour basis though, and that have full staff working at all those times. If you have an extremely sporadic ordering and shipping schedule, this might be the kind of company that you want to do business with, because they will likely give you the most flexibility in terms of when you can place an order and still have it picked up the next day.

If you need faster pickups and don't always have enough time to let your courier know about your deliveries, you might want to also consider paying a little more and upgrading to a same day courier that might only need one hour notice to make a pickup.
