How Large A Package Can I Transport Via Bike Messenger? Depends On The Package!

By:

Miami courier service is dedicated to customer service, and that means we want ALL customers satisfied and happy with EVERY delivery we make. These deliveries have to be swift, sure and accurate, and carried out by professionals who know exactly what they're doing and where they're going. To accomplish this, we have a number of vehicles for every need, from semi-trailer trucks all the way to the "greenest" of all vehicles, beloved by Mother Earth and all recyclers, the bicycle.

The humble bike, the one you had as a kid with the playing cards in its spokes so it made that cool ratcheting sound, is a much more versatile tool of delivery than you might think. It's the quickest form of transportation in a small radius, such as the city center and business sections of Miami, and therefore the most economical. The faster and cheaper it is, the happier the customer, that's a great business formula.

But this does mean that packages have to be handsized, or medium at most, in order to be delivered. Our professional bike messengers have pouches, backpacks and, in some cases, storage carriers strapped onto their bicycles, but their space is limited. If they can carry it, they'll take it, but it needs to be small, no more than 6"x12"x8" for a package, or a legal size for a document.

Why so small? We want it to get there in perfect condition, we want it there FAST and we want to be sure our messenger isn't overburdened. That rider may be making a hundred such deliveries a day, going out from the warehouse as many as ten times in a 12-hour period, and we want to ensure against accidents or problems of any kind.

Still not sure? Imagine for a moment you're on a bike, yes, you, the business CEO, which is why you have deluxe playing cards in the spokes, and you're riding around the city's business section. Now take that package you want to send, and imagine yourself on your bike, carrying it. If you can picture doing so for several blocks (usually up to a mile), it's a go. If you picture yourself dropping it, better stick to a delivery truck.

After all, that's YOUR business in that package, and you want your customer to be satisfied at the delivery end, just as we want YOU satisfied with our service. So keep it small, and allow Miami courier service to do its very best for you, every time, in every vehicle.
