What many inspirational stories of women deliver to our own sense of self can be quite phenomenal. This is especially true when those stories are of women that are very much like us, growing through their own search for identity and happiness in order to achieve the life that they dream of. Today a woman can learn and grow faster than ever before to create a journey for her life that is just downright unbelievable even in the smallest of ways.

However, when we find that everyday women just like us have stories to share and have overcome some pretty harsh odds, we can all learn not just more about being women but more about being competent people with the freedom to set our own goals.

Women today are truly limited only by their own inhibitions. If we work for a company that doesn't promote women we have the ability to find other jobs with other companies. If we find ourselves alone raising kids and looking toward our dreams as far off distant destinations, we have the power to rearrange our lives so that all needs are met. As we look for inspiration in the cracks and corners of the world, we often find that we can all achieve bigger than we ever thought possible.

From issues of health to issues of partnership we are not forbidden from making positive changes to enhance our own journey. We have every chance to look at what is in front of us and make improvements from within in order to improve the stimulus around us.

Choosing to examine the lives of other women who have been able to find that amazing sense of grace in their everyday circumstances can help us propel our own lives forward in completely new ways. We can determine our own set of parameters in order to accomplish what we need to get done, even when it's messy and scary.

Challenges are a natural part of life and most of us have a belief or two that prevents us from completely embracing them. Yet when we find someone courageous enough to turn challenges into opportunities and to look at their life with eyes that see potential we all have the chance to learn and grow.

Inspirational stories of great women found in your next door neighbor, a woman that has never sat upon a movie set or a modeling screen, or a woman from half way around the world living in conditions that we are fearful to comprehend are fantastic stories of the human spirit and all that we can do. Being a woman today is really about seeing yourself in the truest light possible and finding potential in the smallest nuggets of chance.
