When I first started marketing online I did not know HOW to get started or what products to market. The first thing I did was begin researching other trainers and leaders in the online marketing industry. I found a few massive leaders that I decided to learn from and I purchased their courses.

A word of caution though, you need to research and try out the products you are going to market. You want to make sure that the products you are selling are the real deal and packed full of valuable content. You also want to make sure your commissions are paid out in a timely manner and that they are worth your time and effort.
One of the first things I learned was that online you are either going to PAY for traffic or exchange TIME for traffic. At the beginning what I decided to do was use FREE marketing strategies and invest in a couple software programs that would help me save TIME and automate a lot of the grunt work. I found it much easier to invest one time in a software program than risk money 'I didn't have' in Pay Per Click or Solo Ads', etc.
I ended up purchasing an Article Submitter program that blasted out my articles to over 600 directories online. I then purchased FriendBlaster Pro software for marketing on myspace. Friendblaster pro automates the whole process of adding friends, posting comments, posting bulletins, sending out messages, etc. It's a big time saver!! . I also purchased the tubeinator for marketing on youtube. It's similar to Friendblaster Pro except it automates adding friends on youtube.
My main strategies are "Article Marketing", "Social Networking", and "Video Marketing". Everything else I do online centers around these three marketing strategies.
