How I Created Some Space With Storage In Portsmouth

If there is one New Year resolution this year that I need to embrace, that is to try and curb my shopping habits. I love shopping so much that it has become quite a bit of a problem and all of the items I have collected over the years now no longer fit in my flat in Portsmouth. It really has got out of hand, but because I am a hoarder I find it very difficult to throw my purchases away. That is when I realised what I could do and how a Portsmouth storage company would be able to help.

I have now reached a point where I have realised that I need to stop spending and deal with the mess of clothes and other items I have brought for years. By placing some of my clutter into storage in Portsmouth I have been able to begin the great clearout-but at a pace that I can control. I really dislike throwing things away and I need to do it in my own time.

Slowly but surely I am beginning to feel the benefits of clearing away some of the mess, as since some of my belongings have gone into storage I am finding my flat easier to live in. With storage in Portsmouth there is no set amount of time I have to keep my belongings stored so I feel confident I can slowly sort out what I want to definitely keep and what I will have to eventually part with. However, being addicted to shopping has cost me a fortune and once I have done the cull I will then be able to make some money back on the clothing that I have only really worn once.

So this 2010 will be the year that I am able to sustain a tidy living space and get rid of all the excess belongings that I no longer need. Tidy mind and all that, I really cannot recommend how helpful the storage company has been to help me achieve this. They arrange a free van hire so I was able to move everything all at once with minimum stress instantly freeing up a huge amount of space in my home. Now I just need to concentrate on letting it all go, I have a slightly more homely flat which I am focussing on so that I start inviting my friends over again without being embarrassed.
