Those that show a dedication towards the job can expect to be promoted to the level of a driller in about five years. They can also look to make applications with offshore rigs that pay good wages for all types of work.

People do not have to be under the impression that oil rigs, only employ people as general laborers or drillers. People working on oil rigs also have other requirements which must be taken care of.
