How Do I Find An Online Florist That Delivers Near Me?

By:

The worst part about hunting for a florist when you want to call and place a telephone order for someone's special day is spending hours flipping through a phone book or surfing the White Pages to find one in the right zip code. Did you know there are hundreds of cities in the U.S. that have the same name? Seriously. That's why it's so much easier to use an online florist when you're trying to send flowers long distance.

Did you know there's a Santa Fe in both California and New Mexico? A Hollywood Beach in California and Florida? (How does that work anyway? Do you think it's a Universal Studios thing?) There are Plainfields in Illinois, New Jersey and Indiana, a Nashville in Tennessee, Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio and a Hershey in both Pennsylvania and Nebraska. And that doesn't even mention Guilford, which shows up in Connecticut, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, New York, Vermont and North Carolina.

Taking that into consideration, it's easy to see how you could accidentally order flowers for someone in Maryland and have them end up on a stranger's porch in Oregon! And that's not even talking about towns like Paris, Texas or Berlin, North Dakota. Thanks to the global power of the Internet, you can get some interesting results when you go looking for a florist that works in a particular city.

That's why it's great to have access to an online florist. You don't HAVE to find one near you, you just have to find one that delivers where you want to go! When you place your order you type in the address, and the company's directory will recognize whether or not it delivers there and let you know before you hand over your credit card information (after all, how else are they going to know how much to charge you?). This can save you from being in the embarrassing position of trying to explain to your sweetie that you really did send them flowers, they just happened to end up on another girl's (or guy's) doorway in Nevada.

You don't want to have to try to explain that one. There's only so far the florist confusion excuse will go.

Online florists usually operate on a fairly broad scale, so it's easy to find one company that can deliver across a huge selection of cities, states, territories, counties or whatever segmenting rules your part of the world is going by these days. Some even operate across international boundaries, which is really, really cool when you need a fun way to let someone who's thousands of miles away know that you're thinking about them.

So how do you find this magical florist? Use the power of the Internet. It doesn't matter, one of them should be able to connect you with an online florist who'll make sure your thoughts, wishes, dreams and good words (oh, and your flowers too) get where you want them to go.
