How Can You Write A Professional Student Resume And Where To Get Resume Examples?

By:

The first thing that comes out of your mind after college is how you are going to present yourself in a piece of paper that would make an employer say, "You're the one we are looking for!" After 4-5 years of college with studying late at night along with partying late at night at times, you may wonder how you are going to put all those years in effect in the real world. Well, the answer is by creating a mind-blowing and impressive student resume.

For example, you dont really have extensive experience, and which is mostly the first thing employers are looking for. To make up for this, you should put your impressive educational background on top. You may put clubs and group that you have led, or award you have won. You need to show your employer that although you don't have much experience or even not at all, you are capable of learning quickly on-the-job as you are an excellent student with a great GPA! Make sure that your high grades are in bold and big fonts. If you have to put necessary details, do it. This is to show you potential boss that you can be an asset to the company as you have been an asset to your school. The cool thing is that you can find a lot of resume examples on the internet to help you build one yourself!

If you are applying for say a journalism position, you must include all awards you have with regards to writing. Put an "Honors" section where you will state all of the certificates and recognition you have received since 1st grade. Also include all the classes you have taken up in college related to writing, and if you got a good grade, make sure you highlight it to let it stand above all the others. If you have joined conferences and seminars related to writing and journalism, never forget to include them, as they are the most important. This is showing your future boss that you are really interested in writing, because you have been participating in non-school related and extracurricular activities related to writing.

At the end of it, make sure you include all contact information in your student resume - home phone number, mobile number, email etc. to make sure they can reach you anytime to at least one of these mediums. Keep your lines open all the time! You would not want your potential boss calling with your cell phone running on low battery.
