This will then be inserted behind the natural breast tissue through the incision.

The entire procedure usually takes around one to two hours to complete and, afterwards, you will awake with bandages in place and wearing your sports bra. You will need to stay in hospital overnight but can return home in the morning. Your breasts will feel tender for a while, but this should go down over a few days. You should wear a sports bra 24 hours a day for at least eight to 12 weeks after the procedure, to allow your breasts to be supported fully.
