It was not so long ago that most people would automatically choose curtains for each window in their home; they seemed to be the only viable option. Blinds are incredibly practical and they require a minimum amount of care. Dusting or wiping them over on a fairly regular basis is the most work you will have and you will not have to dismantle them to do it! Once fitted, they can be left exactly where they are. The only time they will need to be moved is if you have any decorating to do.
Another reason for curtains no longer ruling the market is that blinds are now available in a huge variety of designs. The days of having a choice of Venetian or Venetian are long gone; ranges are now comprised of many different styles. There are contemporary designs for modern homes and more traditional ones that are more in keeping with older properties.
