Cash Gifting Lesson From Laos
My girlfriend and I are in Laos. A recent lunch I had at a locale haunt inspired me to write this post.
We ordered and 10 minutes later I had fodder for this article.
Cash Gifting Lesson | No Eye Contact
The waitress made zero eye contact with us. She did not care about us, not on any level. This is extremely rare here in Laos as virtually every person in the service industry is exceeding friendly.
But this woman just plunked the menu down without a glance, and headed off.
The lesson? Maintain eye contact to acknowledge someone.
How does this apply to the online world? Acknowledge every team member and prospect who contacts you with a personalized email. Call back every prospect or team member, or at least contact them through email.
I spent a bit of time this morning emailing all prospects and
prospective team members, and checking in on my team. Why? Because every person on this earth likes the personal touch. They like to be acknowledged.
Not A Word
I understand about the whole language barrier thing, but again, virtually every person in the service industry speaks either English or Laos. A word in
either language would have been nice.
I know people have bad days. But when you interact with people, refrain from taking your bad day with you. It will affect the lives of people around
you, whether you believe this to be the case or not.
Engage your team consistently, and engage your prospects. After acknowledging individuals you must continue to build relationships, to chat them up, to answer questions, to be accessible.
As your presence grows you might not be able to respond to people as quickly but make the effort to get back to everybody you possibly can. Of course, as a sharing club sponsor your team takes absolute precedence....and the team members who take precedence over others are the hungry ones who bust their ass and follow your instructions.
You prosper tremendously as a cash gifting coach by simply being accessible, and engaging.
