House Fires Caused By Power Lines

Do you live in a state that has a lot of high wires? Do they seem to be everywhere? When you go under them can you feel the power or hear the power running through them? If you were to walk under them do you feel like your hair is standing on end? These high lines can make you feel this way so if that is the case why should we keep putting them in? With all of these lines running all over the state or even in your community do you feel safe in lightning storms?

In an electrical storm do you realize that these lines might attract these strikes which in turn would cause you to lose your lights and end up with a huge fire. If these lines should happen to get hit they would sent showers of sparks in all directions. These sparks are like giant matches that have been dropped out of Gods hands. Only these sparks have a fire several times hotter than any match. It is a good thing that most of the area around these lines do not have houses near them. The only thing under these lines are a lot of trees that could catch on fire.

Any big lightning storm does not leave an area without some major damage to something. This kind of storm can hit several places at once and last for hours. This type of storm can travel very quickly or set on one area for several hours before moving on. If you happen to be living near any high wires during a storm of this kind you really should think about going somewhere until this storm is over. A fire from one of these storms could happen really easy. Most of the time houses are not built too close to these lines, but in big cities this might be to hard to avoid.

If you should get a fire from the breaking of one of these lines you will need to make sure that you homeowners insurance is up to date. Most of these fires would be nothing but complete and total loss. You will need to call in the professionals to clean up all of the mess. This house will probably be nothing but ashes, but the mess will have to be removed. If you want to have them build you a new house on this same piece of property, they will. If you do not want to have this home rebuilt here, you will have to sell this property and buy some elsewhere.
