House Church - How The Church Is Being Hindered In It's Bid To Completely Develop

Which portion of a serious athlete's body, one which is competing at a very lofty level, is the least important? If they are vieing as a high level competitor, then there is no such thing as a "less signifigant" area of the body. This is exactly the same situation the bride of Christ finds itself in…no part is insignificant, without tremendous value.

Unfortunately, the standard western church structure doesn't let the majority of the body to be active and gain the necessary strength.

The late Edwards Deming, the key architect of Japan's post second world war manufacturing power, stated that 93% of all organizational problems are systemic, not linked to people.

What this means is...the traits of the system being used represent the biggest determining aspect influencing the progress of any organization. Consequently, any collection of individuals yearning to cooperate commendably together, in this situation, a collection of Christians, is required to create strong systems of functioning in order to be fruitful.

If there is no unimportant bit of the body of Christ, then why aren't each and every one of the portions given the similar vigorous exercise that a high level athlete would need? The answer is established in the typical church operating systems that regard highly a selection of gifts more than others, all the while asserting this to not be the case.

The standard western church congegration is run by the ordained ministers, a small collection of elect people. On the contrary, in the quickest developing churches on this planet, everyone has a place, an important role to embrace. The systems that they are being operated under are rather different, even if the ones in westernized countries declare obedience to the "priesthood of all believers," they hardly ever build systems that allow this to happen.

The systems we make use of in each and every aspect of our everyday lives are the result of the ideals held by the designers of the organizing systems. The early church systems we read about in the book of acts, are not similar to the ones which the vast majority of Christians in the industrialized world are accustomed to and are required to operate within. The business world is governed by a command and direct operational configuration, that may be great for productivity but not for constructing community.

Biblical communities are constructed when we discover how to look one another in the eye and recognize the distinctive worth God has built into each person. God has given the church of Christ with a lot more gifts than the existing systems have the capability to embrace and esteem. We were constructed for robust action in the service of God, and it is far better to contribute than merely get. It's up to us to move onward and grow into the Christian that God has planned and not just go to a church assembly and watch others perform and get paid.
