It was our third trip to Goa. Earlier we explored only North Goa, this time we decided to explore south Goa. Before embarking on our bikes we listed out the all the hotels to book ourselves a room. We didnt book online but just wanted to know the review.
We started our journey to South Goa. We planned to check out the Colva beach. It was as beautiful as every beach in Goa. The scent of Goa air was really refreshing. If you go to Goa you should have a bike to travel or you will have to rent them. The easiest way to explore Goa is to Vroom on your bike. We noticed
Graciano Cottage near Colva beach. As we were not sure about which hotel to book we went there for some spot booking. I thought we were the first group to check in via spot booking. The moment we entered and mentioned about spot booking, they were surprised. We booked a room for five. It was a bit convincing factor which helped us to five people in a room. The Air conditioned room was very wide to be precise. I think we could accommodate 10 people in that room. After refreshing ourselves we decided to hit their bar. It was a happening place there. Now we could see where all the crowds were. The bartender attending us was very quick in serving us. He even suggested many cocktails to us. The first thing we asked about the cocktail offered was the price. The price was not too costly when you compare it with Mumbai. The next offer the bartender made was with the price, not with the name of the cocktail. We all enjoyed this humor of his.
After all the drinks in the bar we departed to the beach. There were some group of college guys like us. They were playing football in the dark. Even we joined them for fun with their permission. It was totally fun. We came back very late and had our lunch in the hotel. The quantity & quality both were adequate for us. Early next day we left
Graciano Cottage to explore other parts of Goa. We made the payments, packed our bags and left on our monster bikes. The next spot we were moving was Anjuna Beach. We were almost half way when we received a call from Graciano cottage. We were shocked when they informed us that I left my wallet back in the room. I was imagining all the important stuffs in it apart from money. It had my license, Pan Card & debit and credit cards. I almost lost everything but thanks to Graciano people I got them all. I didnt know how to react when I got my wallet back. It was indeed kind of them. The money in the wallet would have tempted anyone to not to return the wallet. This gesture of Graciano cottage made me feel about the kindness that prevail in the hospitality industries. This will be the best rated hotel for me for the kind of honesty they showed. I was sure to book room in
Graciano Cottage whenever we would be visiting south Goa.
