Hope Is Such A Useless Word

By:

Why the word hope is useless...

It really bothers me when I see people rally around the word Hope. It is such a useless word.
Now you may be outraged that I say this but allow me to explain...

Hope is downright powerless and wishy washy. It contains no action. It is a word for the weak minded and unmotivated.

Dont believe me? Try this test.

Close your eyes and think about the one thing you truly want on the deepest level of your being. Now say to yourself, I hope I achieve/get (insert your desire here). How do you feel? Can you see yourself getting this thing?

Lets use health as an example. Can you see yourself becoming healthy? Can you see yourself not getting healthy too? Hope leaves the door open to any outcome.

Now try this. Close your eyes again and say, I demand health (your desire) now. Do you see how that feels different? Can you see yourself getting healthy? Does any negative outcome have a possibility with this statement?

No, there is only one outcome - you achieving whatever it is you demanded. There is action and commitment in the word demand that is completely missing from the word hope. You can feel the difference deep down inside you.

I challenge you to remove the word hope from your vocabulary. With Breast Cancer Awareness month on the horizon, you have the perfect opportunity to practice. Dont hope for a cure - what a waste of time. Do something!

Work for a cure, raise money for a cure, demand better products to reduce the risk of cancer. Whatever you do is more than just sitting there dreamy-eyed and hoping for a cure.

Please people - take action. Use action words and your mind and body will follow with action.

Do more than hope for a better future - Demand It! Create It! Work for it!

If you take action, it will happen just as you willed it to.
