Homerwoods Amish Handscraped collection is created in the tradition of Renaissance-era woodworking by Pennsylvania Dutch craftsmen. Each individual plank is hand scraped, one at a time, a technique seldom used by flooring manufacturers today who opt for machine distressing. This is the key factor that distinguishes Homerwood Flooring from any other hardwood manufacturer.

Homerwoods Amish Hand-scraped Collection is available in both solid and engineered planks, featuring cherry, hickory, oak, and black walnut species, available prefinished and unfinished. Prefinished woods have a light, clear sheen of Aluminum Oxide.

Some of the species have a specialty stain coating to highlight the woods nature textures and to accent the handscraping. The solid and engineered collections are available in 3, 4, 5, and 6 inch planks, with 3/4ths of an inch thickness for solids, and 5/8ths
of an inch thickness for engineered.

The Amish Hand-scraped Collection is perfect for homeowners who want to infuse their homes with a rustic, old-farmhouse feel. With golden highlights, Hickory Saddle is the most versatile wood in the collection. Its neutrality allows it to accompany both white walls and pastels, or vibrant reds and rich browns.

The reddish Cherry Cinnamon looks best when used with its complimentary color on the color wheel a light green or a bluish hue. For homes with light-greys and darker green colors, go with something dark and chocolaty, like White Oak Espresso.
