Homemade Acne Treatments To Heal Your Skin

How do you find an effective acne sensitive skin treatment if you suffer from both acne AND hyper-sensitive skin? These homemade acne treatments can be done at home, without a lot of extra expense. You will need to be consistent and to do these each and every day for a period time in order to see results.

Cucumber: Take a cucumber, cut it into small pieces and put it inside a blender to prepare a smooth paste. Apply it all over the affected part of the body and keep it untouched for at least 15 minutes and then wash off thoroughly with water. Cucumber cleans up the skin and makes it free from dirt.

Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

Washing your skin with a washcloth every night helps in reducing acne. Use an acne face cleanser that contains benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, salicylic acid or Retin A to help in removing the top skin layer.

Now, to control the breakouts there are two excellent natural acne cures. If you have a big zit on your face, and want to reduce it, then just take an ice cube and apply it over the affected area. This will help to bring the inflammation down, and is a good quick remedy in case you are going out.

Tiny skin cells also take a part in the blocked pores. The skin cells will shed from inside the pore and begin to bunch together causing a clogged pore. Eventually a whitehead or blackhead will appear as a result of the clogged pore. Clogged pores are not caused by poor hygiene like many people believe.

Take some cooked oatmeal and put some honey in it. Mix them well and use the mixture as a homemade mask to get rid of acne. Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off.
