Do not wash your face with soap and water, wash it in the morning and night with lukewarm salty water. Soap is a drying agent and may worsen the acne, whereas lukewarm salty water may help remove oils without drying the skin.

Another home remedy worth trying which will cost you almost nothing is garlic. Take a fresh piece of garlic and peel off the skin carefully. Cut the garlic and rub it on the acne gently making circular motions. If possible squeeze a little bit of garlic juice and apply it on the acne. Leave it overnight. The smell of garlic may be overwhelming but this treatment really works. Garlic is a very effective antibiotic and eliminates the bacteria responsible for causing pimples.

Drinking Plenty of Fresh Juices- These will provide your body with the essential nutrients it need to function optimally. It will also help your body to remove some of the toxic substances which promotes acne.

Applying toothpaste and alcohol- we need to apply toothpaste over the infected area and let it be there for about 20 minutes. Next, we need to dip a Q-tip in alcohol solution and apply it on the pimple area. The pimples pass out by the morning.

Use a natural face pack- There are several face packs out there in the market which are very effective against acne. For best results you must try a mud pack since they are known to be the best when it comes to dealing with acne and they are extremely effective in killing all the harmful bacteria and keeping your skin healthy and fresh. For best results you must apply a mad pack at least 2 times a day regularly.

You can also try taking green drink. This product is sold at almost every supermarkets and health food stores. They are said to be capable of getting rid of pimples and all forms of acne because of its alkalizing effect. This effect is what works to reduce the levels of toxins in the body, thus reducing acne.

Fenugreek leaves can also help alleviate or eliminate acne. Just create a paste from these leaves and apply it to the affected areas of your skin. According to experts, this can help heal even the acne scarring. It will also block excessive amount of sebum, leaving your skin free from pimples and blackheads.

Baking Soda-

Baking soda is an excellent skin exfoliates. Very often will you find a proportionate amount of this component being used in cosmetic treatments. No need to seek an expert help; try this out yourself. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of water (boiled and filtered). This will make a soft paste; now very gently rub this over your face and especially the acne-affected areas for a minute or so and then rinse off with plain water.
