It will protect the homeowner from the professional ensuring the work is done correctly, giving understandable direct instructions on the work that is to be rendered, and if it is not done professionally in the proper amount of time, that is agreed upon in the contract. The professional will have clear understanding that no payments will be made for that type of service. However, the homeowner will have also signed this legal document stating the fact, the terms and condition of how payment is to be rendered when the job is completed.
