Cliffside Malibu understands that you have diverse needs and this is why we incorporate outpatient drug addiction programs into your treatment plan, once you have gained sobriety at our center. These types of programs, such as meeting with your sponsor or going to meetings outside of the center will help you adjust to having less structure and prepare you to go back to your life.
In addition, you will be able to see that you are not the only recovering addict facing struggles outside of your treatment center. Part of your initial assessment at Cliffside Malibu is coming up with a detailed exit plan. This includes setting you up with the right aftercare
drug addiction programs.
We do not just want to treat you and then thrust you back into the world. At Cliffside Malibu, we want to give you every opportunity we can to ensure you have achieved lasting sobriety. This means that we must set you up with aftercare drug programs.
It is up to your and your doctor as to what course of action is best of your unique addiction. Cliffside Malibu is a residential treatment center, which means we offer inpatient programs.
It does not matter if you have been through all of the drug programs mentioned above and have still relapsed; you may not have found the right ones for you addiction. Combining what was mentioned above means that you are still willing to work towards your sobriety.
It means you are willing to try, try, and try again if need be until you have found the one program that makes a difference in your life. The point is you do not need to give up on yourself because the moment you do, sobriety slips out of reach. Remember, out of all of the drug addiction programs available to you, not all of them are right for you.
Aftercare addiction programs. Probably one of the most important parts of your recovery process that you may not think about is the aftercare drug addiction programs you will attend. These drug addiction programs are what you participate in following your primary treatment and can be referred to as outpatient programs because you are at home when you are attending them.
