History Of Denver Lofts And The Best Places To Find Denver Lofts Downtown

The first lofts date back to 19th century Paris when local artists needed more room to house the ever expanding canvas sizes. Spacious Lofts with high ceilings fit the bill.

The trend moved into New Yorks SoHo in the 1940s where starving artists used abandoned warehouses to live in and produce their masterpieces.
By the 1970s it became hip and cool to live in these spacious lofts in the industrial zones. New York ended up changing their zoning from commercial to residential and the masses sought out trendy lofts.

This idea to revitalize impoverished commercial space spread too many of the major cities who also saw the benefits of changing zoning laws to accommodate residential dwellers. Denver was no exception. Check out some of the Best Denver Lofts around town.

Ballpark Neighborhood Denver:

Come check out the up and coming neighborhood of Ballpark. See the incredible finishes available in the newly constructed Zi Lofts Denver located directly to the North of the Ball Field. I have always been a fan of the view from the Skylofts Denver. Next door dont forget to check out the Bayly Lofts Denver. These are more traditional brick and timbers domiciles.
Last but not least make sure to see what is available in the Isbell Lofts Denver which are considered some of the nicest in the area. Walk to the ballpark or downtown. This is definitely a developing up and coming area of town. You will find plenty of Denver Lofts here.

LoDo Neighborhood Denver:

You will find more of the traditional brick and timber lofts with high ceilings in this part of town. Come explore the available listings in the Ice House Lofts Denver next to the Union Station Project. Another traditional loft that is one of my favorites for a mix of contemporary architecture intertwined with classic turn of the century sand brick and timber is the Titanium Lofts Denver.
Step back in time to one of the first loft conversions in the early 90s at Acme Lofts Denver. Just in front of Union Station you will find another one of my favorite historic Building that was once the home for horse drawn streetcars known now as Streetcar Stables Lofts Denver.

Denver Lofts Downtown:

If you want to find Denver Lofts Downtown then you may want to consider the most luxurious new high-rises in Denver, One Lincoln Park Denver. There are still some high end units available. Staying with the new and high end theme make sure to look into Spire Denver when you are Downtown. Its young, hip and eco-friendly.

For affordability look to the Baldwin Lofts Denver right in the heart of downtown. Youll find great exposed brick and an urban feel. Get a 1100+ sq ft loft for under $240k. The Best Denver Lofts are found here.

Golden Triangle Neighborhood Denver:

Near the new art Museum to the South of Civic Park lies a great area for lofts in the Golden Triangle. Make sure to check out the Metropolitan Lofts Denver which was built in 1996. There are some nice options as well in the Century Lofts Denver which tend to be a more contemporary architectural style with huge light filled windows.

Dont miss the newer Trovare Building. There is some interesting newer builds coming into this area as it gets better and better. This area will soon be a hot spot for City Dwellers.

Riverfront Park Neighborhood Denver:

East West Partners have created one of the nicest areas of town to live in and its only going to get better with the completion of the Union Station Development Project. Youll find the highest price per square foot of about anywhere in town but its worth it. Make sure to catch the view from Glasshouse Denver or Park Place Lofts.

Dont miss the beautiful units at the Riverfront Tower when you are searching for Denver Lofts Downtown.
