Hinduja Global Solutions is on the verge of two acquisitions in the US & UK. The deals which are expected to be finalised by December, are pegged at around 60-70 million dollars each. Anand Vora, CFO of Hinduja Global Solutions said, The size of the US company is in the range of USD 70-80 million and the one in the UK is USD 25-30 million.
Both these entities would be profitable entities. The US company has 2,500 to 3,000 employees, while the one in UK has between 1,200-1,500 of staff. Vora also said that the new acquisitions were expected to add around USD 100 million to the company's topline. Simultaneously,
Hinduja is also learnt to be in talks for a joint venture in China. BPO firm
Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd is looking to diversify into newer markets such as China and Latin America.
As part of its three-year growth plan, the company proposes to set up a 500-seat delivery centre in China by the end of this fiscal or early next to serve the local and Japanese market, said Mr Partha De Sarkar, CEO, Hinduja Global. We see a huge market in China and Japan. There arent too many outsourcing players there, he said.
Hinduja Global is exploring various locations in coastal China that has a proximity to Japan, to set up its delivery centre.
The centre would have 100 per cent local talent. We already have a team on the ground looking at the feasibility of setting up operations, Mr De Sarkar said. The company is exploring tie-ups or joint ventures with local companies for the China operation.
The company did not provide a timeline for the centre in Latin America. The centre could be used to cater to customers in Spain and US.
Stating that BPO is no longer an India story, Mr De Sarkar said the company operated from 24 locations across five countries. International revenues account for 85 per cent of the companys earnings, while the remaining 15 per cent were from the domestic market.
Hinduja Global, which added 418 employees in the June quarter to increase its headcount to 14,205 plans to add some 600 more in the current fiscal.
