Cuba has got everything which is needed to be a popular tourist destination. Historic buildings, modern lifestyle, buzzing nightlife and serene beaches have made it immensely popular. Playas Del Este stands apart from numerous other beach destinations for various reasons. Located along east of national capital Havana, it is a string of beautiful beaches strewn here. Museo de la Ciudad or Museum of the City is a museum which was originally built as a Presidential Palace. It was built in 1791 as the Presidential Palace and served as home to colonial governors in colonial era. As of today, it serves as a museum and has a repository of museum collections in Havana.

Apart from other items, stuff related to history of Havana has been put on display here. There are numerous sections in this museum which are dedicated to different aspects of Cuban history. Some of these sections even house original flags which were used by colonial governors in pre independence era.

Cigar lovers around the world are simply fans of cigars made and exported from this country. One may find cigar factories established in various parts of Cuba. However, the place renowned for having most of them is Pinar Del Rio. Guided tours to these factories are available and tourists can buy genuine Cuban cigars here.

Tourists are seen vouching for collecting them for their own use or as souvenirs. Quite importantly, foreign nationals are allowed to take up to 50 cigars without any documentation. Taking a higher quantity mandates presence of official documentation. At the same time, one should buy cigars from established stores only to avoid getting duped.

Though American citizens are allowed to visit here, they are barred from using Cuban cigars. Whether they have purchased cigars through proper channel or received them as gift, these are strictly prohibited in US. However, they are allowed to purchase and take home other items including paintings from here.

A must visit place in Havana is the Plaza de la Revolucion which is dedicated to leaders of Cuban revolution. Here, one may find statues of Jose Marti and Che Guevara who led the Cuban revolution. One should pay a visit here in evening or early morning for fending hot sun and deluge of tourists.
