Hidden Security Cameras-do You Need One?

Hidden cameras are board cameras placed inside common products that you see in a home, office or business. Some examples include radios,wall mirrors, alarm clocks, tower fans, desk lamps and so on. The latest version of these hidden security cameras is much more sophisticated and includes a DVR. So it's an all-inclusive unit.

It uses a SD card to record images. To play them back you can use the included RCA cable to plug into a TV or monitor to watch or insert the SD card into the SD card reader of your computer. It is so simple even I can do it.

Other hidden cameras do not have a DVR. You can still watch the video on a TV or computer monitor but to record you need a DVR or VCR. And yet a third type is the so-called "body worn" camera that includes a camera DVR and a tiny microphone to record audio. Kind of the ultimate spy tool.

The purpose of those cameras is to catch somebody doing something they shouldn't be doing. And for most people there is no shortage of wrongdoing going around. The most common uses of hidden security cameras are for home security-to protect your home against intruders; business security-to prevent employees from stealing from you or shoplifting by customers; as a nanny camera-to protect your kids and keep an eye on a nanny or watch over your aging parents and their caregivers; or catch a cheating spouse, cheating partner, cheating girlfriend or cheating boyfriend.

That covers a lot of people. But if you're one of the fortunate few that are outside of those categories then maybe you don't need a hidden security camera.
