Even in todays modern world, ones attention will still be caught by strange things or beyond normal things like spells, chants and the most intrigued hidden hypnosis. Hypnosis, an art practiced by people known as hypnotist has been long known for years as an art that uses mental ability to control and influence other persons action or decision. On the other hand, the universally accepted definition for hidden hypnotism is the capacity to communicate and bring about some influence into ones subconscious mind without the person realizing it. It can also be said that the practice of hidden hypnotism elicits different responses from people such as disbelief, interest and intrigue.

The art of hidden hypnotism has been studied for years and many names were known for it. One of the known master hypnotists who studied the said art and have gained the knowledge and skills of the act is Steven Peliari. He said that his goal is to help people improve their lives by having a better interpersonal relationship. Peliari also stressed out that hidden hypnosis should be used only with good intentions and not to take advantage or cause harm to other people. Hidden hypnotism, also known as covert hypnotism uses principles derived from Mentalism, hypnosis and NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Mentalism practiced by persons known as mentalist is an art which deals with the use of intuitive abilities. Acts like telepathy, psycho kinesis, mind control, and even the rapid mathematics are part of mentalism. Neuro-Linguistic programming is an approach to effectively communicate with people, modifying their mental pattern or even their behavior. Hypnosis induced through hypnotic induction, a procedure generally composed of series of instructions and hypnotic suggestions. Hypnosis is also known for its therapeutic effects through hypnotherapy.

Hidden hypnotism method is composed of simple steps which should be considered by someone who is interested to learn the practice of the said art. The first step in hidden hypnotism is to establish rapport with the subject so that cooperation will be gained. Rapport may be built through mirroring or with simply agreeing with the subject. It is also important that the psychological congruency between the hypnotist and the subject is maintained. With the rapport you have with your subject, you can then start giving hypnotic suggestions. You will even get amazed on how simple the methods are to achieve a successful hypnotism.

The practice of hidden hypnotism has become controversial and has been tagged by others with a negative impression. The power of the mind is, of course, something that cannot be measured and so should be used only with proper guiding principles acceptable both to the law of man and God. Again, it is of worth to repeat the words of Peliari that this should be used only with good intentions and never to harm or to take advantage of other people.

In an instance, a wife who is always having headache in ordering her husband to stop alcohol drinking would have succeeded the job long time ago if only she has the knowledge of hidden hypnotism method.

An act is neither good nor bad. It is dependent on the intent of the person doing it. With the proper knowledge and skills, hidden hypnotism could be of great help to those having intrapersonal, interpersonal, and emotional problems. This art is not to make people act the way you want them to. It is not to benefit from the circumstance. It is to help build emotional and mental stability as well as equilibrium.
