The American Academy of Physician Assistants has reported that the demand for PAs is going to rise and the number of men and women who enter into this career is going to rise also. This is going to happen because that there is going to be an increase in medical costs where there is a lot of people who can afford costly medical care. The salaries for physician assistants are showing an upward trend and as the demand for physician assistant increases.

According to the website MySalary.com in 2009, the average salary that was expected for a physician assistant was starting at $80,000. The salary all depends on a persons qualifications, experience, work location, the persons skills but a PAs salary can go as high as six figures depending on what they have specialized in.
