Help Yourself With Flat Iron For Loose Curls

By:

Loose and soft curls are one of the hottest trends in hairstyling. A flat iron not only straightens your tresses but also helps you create loose curls that look natural and cheerful.

1. Use a comb for removing tangles from your hair. Using thermal protectant serum protects your hair from the high temperature of the flat iron. Work the styling aid through your hair. Avoid getting this product on your roots because it will weigh down your hair and make it look greasy.
2. Let the flat iron to heat up until it reaches the appropriate temperature. For better results and creating flowing curls, use a thin flat iron with a rounded barrel and plate. A straightening rod without a rounded plate creates dents in your hair that look unnatural.

3. With the comb divide a 1-inch section of hair. If you need looser and bigger curls, use larger sections of hair.

4. Hold the flat iron near the roots and slowly slide it down your hair about 2 inches down. Clamping too close to the roots will get too much volume and the curls won't seem bouncy. Be sure to hold the device in a vertical position rather than the horizontal one that is used for straightening.
5. Till the flat iron turns back on itself, twist your wrist a half turn. In this position, the hair and the flat iron should generate a U-shape.
6. Preserve this half-turn position and glide the flat iron downward the part of hair until the ends of the hair slide through the plates. To create loose and bouncy curls, pull the flat iron quickly down the section of hair. You will get unnatural dents, if you do not pull the iron through the ends of the section of hair. Go over this procedure until you have curled all of the sections of hair.

7. To get shine and definition, apply a lightweight curl cream throughout your new curls.
Tips
Be careful not to burn yourself with the flat iron, as this tool can attain very high temperatures.
