Hypothyroidism. This health condition is also referred to as sluggish thyroid or underactive thyroid. This is often experienced by women and often manifested as one ages. This is quite a tricky condition because it doesn't have so many symptoms visible to people at once. One common sign though that you have this condition is the constant feeling of being tired. Thyroid, as you may already know, is responsible for releasing hormones that help the body's natural metabolism function well. If your metabolism is high, you can have more energy. However, when you have less, you feel tired always. Therefore, if you are always feeling tired and you can't figure out the cause, it is better to go to your doctor and have a blood test. The tiredness you feel may be caused by hypothyroidism. Do not worry too much if you have this condition, taking some hormone supplements will keep the balance again.

Allergy. Some people are allergic to particular types of food. These allergies often result to tiredness as well. When you eat something you are allergic with, your body's defense system will react instantly to fight the substance it recognizes as invader. By doing so, the body takes up energy and therefore, you have less energy left to use for the day. Fighting allergies is not a simple task for the body. So if you think that you are allergic to some food, try to avoid them at once in order to avoid feeling tired.

Sleep Apnea. Sleep apnea is a health condition wherein a person stops breathing for a second while sleeping. It is often seen in people who are snoring. When this happens, the body reacts at once and wakes you up in the middle of the night to breathe. This contributes to tiredness because sleep is constantly disrupted. Disrupted sleep causes bad quality sleep which then causes tiredness because the body is not able to rest well. If you feel you have sleep apnea and you constantly snore, go to your doctor immediately to get the appropriate treatment.

Anemia. This condition is characterized by the lack of iron in the bloodstream. The body carries oxygen to different parts of the body using the hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin can be found in the red blood cells of the body. These red blood cells need enough amount of iron to function well. Therefore, if you have iron deficiency anemia, the body will not be able to transport oxygen to different parts of the body well leaving you feeling tired and sluggish.

Health is wealth and therefore you have to take care of your body always!
