Health Care Technologies

By:

Technology Imperative basically means the autonomy of technological developments and the implication that such developments cannot be stopped and once they do begin their progress is more or less unstoppable. Technology Imperative is a term used as opposed to mysticism and inspired geniuses. It can be defined as the inevitability of technology to eventually take over the functioning of the world to its entirety.
Medical expenses in the United States have been rising for several reasons, with expenditures crossing over $2.3 Trillion in 2008 only. This has been mainly due to the various epidemics of diseases that have hit the Country right from AIDS, Hepatitis to Obesity. Most these are quite known to be the 21st Century diseases which have become known and popular towards the end of the previous century and the beginning of the present. The Federal Budget as mentioned earlier has increased in leaps and bounds only in the cure of AIDS. In fact, expenditure on Medical expenses is one of the leading causes of bankruptcy in the US.
One of the primary factors to be taken care of when looking at rising medical costs are medical insurances, it is mandatory to fix oneself into a medical insurance if one has to get through cutting costs in the medical domain. Find an individual plan that will give you a reasonable medical insurance to keep you afloat. Another factor to be considered is visit a clinic on a regular basis, it hardly cots about $75 to visit on, once in a while. Having regular checks is better than having one large billing in your name; this is far more affordable.
Since its mostly the private sector bearing most of the health care costs, it is a huge burden for them to bear. For example, The Associated Industries of Massachusetts has increased its cost on medical care by 15% in the year 2009 alone, as compared to the 10% and 8% in the past

consecutive years. There are times when some firms have resorted to some extreme measures like cut costs, employment, health benefits, and other expenses to meet these rising medical care bills. Usually rising health care costs have no effects on the profits of a company since most of the costs are borne by the employees themselves. Another example is provided by one such survey by National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), who contend that most business take health-care to be their top concerns and workers may have to pay a bit extra out of their pockets to meet medical expenses, but it hardly affects the employments of the workers, with regards to the company. This forms the standard economic view of most of the small business in the U.S.; thus proving that escalating medical costs does not affect the productivity of any organization.
Federal Agencies for one can begin to spread the adequate awareness regarding programs for health insurance in their states and districts. This is one of the foremost ways to understanding and helping various individuals as well as organizations with rising health care costs. Avoid overworking and spreading the message about wellness and being to the organizations in their district. Creating Email Alerts for various policy issues to keep the citizens interested in their well being is an important aspect. Opening up a forum for people to be able to discuss their problems and report fraudulent practices of unfair payments of medical bills would be of immense help to individuals. Usually County Health Departments-like that of Florida Department of Health- do provide with most of the disease control; like, Immunizations, Sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS and HIV etc; however, as they say Prevention is better than cure.
