Depression is a factor in head aches and is known to change head aches to migraines during a depressed state. When a person is depressed there are a lot of things on his or her mind, and after a while their mind gets crowded with different thoughts and different worries. The way to prevent this type of head ache is to seek help for your depression. If you try to get help for your head aches then you will continue to have head aches. The way to getting rid of head aches that come from depression is by getting through the depression, which is the underlying cause of the headache.

Head aches caused from depression can also make your eyesight bad, and can even cause your eyes to hurt, and therefore leave you in more pain then you would be in with just the head ache. These types of head aches should be taken seriously and should be reported to your doctor as soon as possible.

Headaches Causes and Remedies
Headache is a common complaint in most people. There are 2 types of headaches: primary and secondary. Primary headaches are migraine, cluster and tension headaches. Secondary headaches are caused by an underlying disorder such as brain tumour, infection or injury. Tension headaches are the most prevalent type, afflicting men and women at some point in their lives. Most headaches are triggered by emotional, stress, environmental, chemical and food factors.

Natural alternatives to headache pain relief are just as effective if you know the cause of your headache. However, if you suffer from migraine, cluster or any other serious types of headache, natural headache remedies may not help

If you suffer from recurrent headaches, you need to figure out what is causing the headaches so that you can reduce or eliminate them. Here are some common causes of headaches:
* Dehydration - Most people do not drink enough water to hydrate their bodies. An average adult needs 8 to 10 glasses of water each day. If you are not drinking this much water, you could be dehydrated. Sorry, coffee and sodas do not count.
* Stress and tension - There is no doubt that people are stressed and that stress is impossible to avoid. The problem with stress is that it leads to tension of the shoulders which causes headaches. Frequent breaks and spurts of physical activity during stressful periods may help.

You have a headache and your head is hurting. You have tried not to think about it but it is getting worse and now it is interfering with your day.
