Head Lice Treatment: Different Options

The most familiar head lice treatment is perhaps the least complicated: combing the hair. While this may seem simple, it can become quite tedious, especially for those with very long or fine hair. You can purchase very fine-toothed combs designed to remove all the nits and lice. This method is very effective if you have enough time and patience.

Other than their chosen nesting site, "crabs" are just like head lice. They settle in the pubic hair, however, rather than on your scalp. It is quite common for them to be passed along while having intimate contact with someone, so you should be particularly careful to get rid of them if you are engaged in an intimate relationship.

There is a wide range of treatment methods starting from homeopathic to ultra-modern techniques to deal with head lice. You can be sure of the effect of one of these methods only if you try them out. Normally, certain mixture of chemical washes, combing and cleanliness is sufficient to tackle this problem. It's important to thoroughly wash all linens that include bed sheets and bath towels to kill the loitering pests. Always keep in mind that you're never alone.
