Head Has The Ski For You!

You might be under the impression that Head Skis are becoming skiing's largest brand. You know, with Herman Maier and Bode Miller joining the Head team. Well, it's not true. To conquer the ski industry you have to have a deal with Wal-mart. Or the Ski industry Big Box equivalent. Head Skis is one of the only businesses that won't work with those behemoths, which is why companies like Level nine Sports can bring you Head Skis at prices that no huge chain stores can compete with.

If you go to a European ski resort, you will quickly recognize Head skis carving up the trails everywhere. It's no wonder that from top to bottom their C and XRC series skis rip up the trails and ice with the top skis out. I bet it's the American roots but Head also understands how to create a park and powder ski, because Head's Monster and Mojo lines can't be beat.

Head C series skis are created for carving. They have the preferred shape to easily make perfect turns regardless of what your skill level is. 'C' series skis work well for anyone from beginners to advanced skiers. Though they are mainly for on trail fun, they are not as narrow as parabolic skis of five years ago, and so you won't be struggling in powder or crud. West Coast skiers who prefer skiing on groomed runs also do best with these Head Skis.

Head Xenon and XRC series skis are also meant for all mountain fun with a special attention on carving corduroy. They have the proper shape to easily make perfect turns whatever your ability level is. They also are ideal for any skier from low intermediates to experts. Though they are mainly for groomed riding, they have enough shape to enable skiing in the powder or crud. Make no mistake though, these skis excel on corduroy, hard pack, and ice. Due to this, most all mountain Eastern and Rocky Mountain skiers who don't spend their time beyond the ropes also are best off with Xenon/XRC skis.

Head Mojo skis are the take anywhere park and powder shredders. They're Head's addition to the freeskiing revolution. All of the Mojos are incredible all mountain skis. Well, besides the Supermojo 103; Those skis really aren't made for groomers. But the Mojo 80's and Mojo 90's truly are great all mountain skis.

Powder Skis have recently become a larger focus for Head and the results are incredible. Johnny, Jimi, Richie, Carlos, and Joe are not group members of your favorite 1970's punk rock band. They are Head's line of wide skis. Every one is built with sandwich construction for remarkable dampening and rebound. Some of the bigger skis sport rocker to create more float. And, as usual, they are all made to the exacting design specifications of all Head skis. Recently, a lot of these powder skis and Mojo skis are a line of skis in collaboration with the band Motorhead, including the
