Have A Nice Day With Wool Slippers

All slippers are not the same. For those of you who know anything about the number of different types of slipper, this last statement will be obvious. Wool slippers are a favourite type of slipper and are also known as house slippers. They are especially used in areas of extreme cold temperature and strangely, due to their characteristics, in hot climates too. Due to this kind of importance they are always readily available to buy in many countries around the world.

Wool is usually presented as a type of yarn made from the fleece of a sheep. This type wool or fleece is known for certain important features which make it ideal for these hot or cold climates. Usually wool is a warm material when it is dry and it will perfectly absorb up to one third of its own weight in water and gives off heat in the process of drying acting in a similar way to the bodies skin, therefore giving a cooling affect to the foot. Wool slippers are not only capable of absorbing moisture, they are also very brilliant at releasing the same moisture as well.

Since they are made by boiling the wool, they are very soft in nature and they are acting as our second skin while we wear them. They are very flexible and also very breathable. So wearing wool slippers is always considered as a hygienic habit for each and every person. Wool is also considered as a natural self extinguishing fibre, if it is exposed to flame, it will immediately stop burning when the source of flame is removed. Thus one reason that wool slippers are sometimes used in workshops, for comfort and safety (not sure they come with steel toecaps though!).

Since they are also capable of resisting static, retaining heat, and also being mildew resistant; wool slippers are also considered as a fibre protector for cold climates. It is due to these kind of special amazing features, wool slippers are always considered safer, warmer and they are in fact more comfortable than all other types of slippers.
