Have A Great Wedding Speech By Conjuring 5 Magical Tricks

By:

Just like a garden, what takes a short amount of time to plant (deliver) may require an awful lot of work behind the scenes. If you want to reap the harvest of a toast that will last longer than Thanksgiving dinner, follow these instructions.

1.Brainstorming Without paying too much attention to the process, take advantage of desktop publishing to speedily record your wild thoughts as they come to mind. Envision a bird flitting from tree to bush, sampling various nuts and berries. With total disregard to English class lessons, allow your brain the freedom to roam. You will have a nice list of raw material to work with.

2.Organize Your Thoughts From this collection of ideas, begin to organize the thoughts into some sort of logical sequence, being careful not to discard any ideas yet. Think about how other speeches seem to progress, when the jokes are interjected, when the solemn moments are, and perhaps how even the worst speeches can be made powerful with a simple conclusion.

3.Harvesting Now that your garden is orderly, you can probably begin to detect the flavor of the speech. As you rewrite, pay more attention to your choice of words and the messages they convey. You may enjoy several rewrites as you repeat the process.

4.Talk to the Scarecrow Once you are satisfied with the written portion, now is a good time to stand in the garden and present it to the scarecrow. Although he will love every single part of it, you may notice that your speech blossoms and sets different fruit each time you present it. This is the process that yields the best harvest.

5.Invite the Indians to Dinner Now that you have made the scarecrow happy, it's time to try this out on real people. Unlike the scarecrow, you'll find that people will have reactions to your presentation. If you're smart you'll pay attention to what they have to say, both the verbal and the non-verbal.

Using this "gardening" tips, you may find it has been an easier process than expected to grow an outstanding wedding toast. Your final harvest will be the enjoyment you have brought to the wedding day proceedings and the memories created that day.
