The Harrogate Antiques Fair is a very popular event and is one of the most well-known shows in the antique and fine art business. The organisers of the Harrogate Antiques Fair have been running the show for more than a quarter of a century. The Harrogate Antique and Fine Art Fair began as a small fair for a niche market, but has grown over the years into one of the most important events in the trade.

The Harrogate Antique and Fine Art Fair is a great place for customers to meet dealers of established integrity with in-depth knowledge of the field. A wide range of antiques and art are represented at the show with the latest inclusion being a selection of 20th century Art Nouveau work from specialist dealers. Visitors to the fair will be able to enjoy the show's enormous collection of fine art and antiques.

The press and media tend to speak highly of this show, with comments such as those by the Times which called it the most prestigious antiques fair in the North of England. The Yorkshire Post stated that the show maintains the highest standards while remaining a friendly and informative experience for both exhibitors and visitors. The Telegraph also commented on the show stating that the Harrogate Antique and Fine Art Fair "represents many of the country's top galleries."

Exhibitors at the Harrogate Antique and Fine Art Fair will include the Willow Gallery, Mary Cooke Antiques Ltd, Garret and Hurst Sculpture, M and N Oriental Rugs, Church Street Antiques, British Antique Dealers' Association, Wigs on the Green, Ben Cooper and Licht and Morrison. Other exhibitors expected to grace the event are Neptune Fine Art Ltd, Mark Seabrook Antiques, John Newton Antiques, Steven Hale Watch Restoration, F D and R J Story Longcase Clocks and Garth Vincent Antique Arms and Armour. The Harrogate Antique and Fine Art Fair is scheduled to be held between April 30th and May 4th for 2009.

Access to the Harrogate International Centre will be a matter of convenience for visitors with several fast trains plying from London and Edinburgh and also because of the venue's proximity to the A1, just north of Leeds. Leeds international airport is the closest air link and for international visitors this can be the best option. Harrogate has plenty of accommodation options available for visitors with hotels ranging from budget to luxury located in close proximity to the venue.
