Happiness Is Completely Embracing Yourself

Life is not always terrific. Sometimes when things start going drastically wrong, I look around and discover other folks who's lives seem to be moving on just splendidly. How are they achieving that?. Are they coping with things in a different manner? Maybe they know something that I don't know.

So, how does one become completely happy?

The first step is to completely love yourself. Loving yourself means to realize that we're imperfect beings, but you must have great courage to be able to find ways to start self-improvement within and be able to start to transform.

Genuine happiness also refers to comfort. When you are contented with your family and friends, about the work you do, how you look, your home, the assets you now have - truly, you have already answered the question "how can you be absolutely happy?."

I really feel that life is about trying and failing, winning and losing. These are an inherent part of life and must be used as part of our natural education phase. Disappointment, in anyone's life, is as necessary as air and is no reason to keep us from being happy.

How then can you be truly happy in spite of it all? Honestly speaking... every time you put energy into increasing the quality of your daily life, whether it's assisting someone, taking your dog for a stroll, working on your business, or reading a success book, life gives you an equivalent kick start.

Authentic happiness isn't always about being the very best looking one of the group, driving the best car, getting the top award, or getting that pay raise. Sometimes, the biggest prizes in life don't always go to the most important, the most suitable, the most powerful and maybe not even the ideal person.

So, how do we become really happy? Every one has his own interpretation. Happiness for a writer may mean writing a best-selling book. Happiness for a prizefighter may be a knock-out punch. Happiness for a homeless person may mean a roof over his head. Happiness for a small business man may mean more money.

So, really now, what is authentic happiness? Simple. You don't really need all the very best things in life. Its all about creating the best out of every single issue. When you find yourself chuckling at your slip-ups and planning to do even better next time, you are firing up within yourself the capacity to keep going and that will stay with you throughout life. You will find yourself willing to try again and again - that will in fact make you a genuinely happy person.

When you can unquestionably accept yourself and your own shortcomings, you've already started the process to becoming genuinely happy. For as long as you know how to love and accept others, you will also be loved and accepted ten-fold.

So - "How can we end up being completely happy?" I presume that if we can keep a sense of humor about our well-being and our everyday life and not take ourselves too seriously, then we can lighten up and enjoy life - even our blunders and out failures. Most people don't appreciate that the very best use of laughter is laughing at ourselves.

As a result you're not just delighted and joyful ... you are making others happy as well and without a doubt, you're also helping to MAKE TODAY'S WORLD A BETTER PLACE!
