Handmade Mother's Birthday Card

Giving your mother a handmade birthday card will add a very special touch to her birthday. Handmade birthday cards feel more personal, are fun and easy to make, and will be treasured for years to come. Here are some ideas for your handmade birthday card for your mom's birthday.

1. Embed cards with her favorite song or write the lyrics in the card. You can buy little devices that will play music when you open the card, just like store-bought cards.

2. Write a poem and include it in the card for her.

3. Write a few paragraphs on your feelings for her and put it into the card.

4. Fill the card with favorite quotes or inspirational ones.

The time to present the birthday card to your mom should be when you are at a private place where you can share the closeness and meaning that your card will bring, or with your immediate family. Also remember that cards can be framed or put into scrapbooks to be kept for future generations to see or just for your mom to look back on when she misses you.
