One feeling that we cannot run away and will always be there in our life is the feeling of anxiety as well as frustration. What is important about them is that we know how to express and handle them effectively and constructively because inability to do so will lead to you handling frustration in a destructive way which can do nobody any good.

Frustration by itself should be viewed as harmless, it is the way we express it that can sometime brings the most amount of inconvenience in our life, adding unnecessary stress in our lives as well as others.

The thing about frustration is that it is actually a learnt skill, if you think carefully you might be expressing your frustration just like the ways your parents did! This is perhaps due to the fact that we learnt it from our parents when we were young.

Therefore, if so far you have not been handling you frustration well and have been causing some form of inconvenience and destruction in your life, it is not too late to learn how to effectively and constructively handle your own frustration.

Here are some ideas that you can use to help you deal with frustration effectively.

-Showing others respects - One thing that we all sought as a society creature is to have other's approval in terms of our opinions. Not able to gain that can quickly lead us to be frustrated, and as such what you need to do is learn how to give others respect in the first place. If you do not wish to have others imposing their ideas and opinion on you, why would you want yours to be imposed on them?

-Be self affirmed - One reason why we feel the need to have others accepting our ideas and opinion is because it affirms our self beliefs. Since getting others to accept your views can sometimes backfire on you, what you can do is to work on your own self-confident and be self affirmed enough to deal with rejection. With a true sense of yourself and a healthy self esteem, you will most likely face less frustrated.

-Understand what you can or can not control - By understanding that some things are out of your hand, you stop trying to save the world and become frustrated at the lack of ability to change things. There are some things that we just can not change and we should not be too worried and worked up about it.

Failure to deal with frustration the effective and constructive way is a sure way to get you angry, and not to mention you will most likely lose respect from others as well. It is not to late to relearn how you deal with frustration and start leading a better and healthier life.
