Gwadar is situated at the extreme southwest of Pakistan on the worlds busiest sea-route and it is 60 kilometers long coastal strip. It is the most beautiful sea side of real estate Pakistan and on the ending of the 21st century this port has come across and is also highlighted the most. The future trade is dependent on this sea port and the countries who are involved in the trading are Pakistan itself with china, Afghanistan and central Asian states.
If we discuss about the history of Gwadar then it is very old place and you will not found population here because of the desert. During the time of division this area of sea port and its neighboring areas were included in Qallat. Later in 1955 this area divided into Makran and Gwadar and also upgraded as Makran. In 1977 the Makran is divided into three districts i.e. Turbat, Panjgor and Gwadar. Presently Pakistan Property at Gwadar is a city of one hundred thousand people, and it is surrounded by Arabian Sea from three sides. The Gwadar by its name Gwa means air and Dar mean the Door. Gwadar is the place of deep sea with multiple rocks of sand and most of the Gwadar population makes their living on the catch of fish.
During the era of Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan the plan to make Gwadar as modern port is suggested but due to the lack of funds and also because of some external and internal politics with international matters didnt allow the plan to be fulfilled.
Real estate Pakistan government constituted an organization named Gwadar Development Authority in 2003 to improve the irregular expansion and development of the city. If we take a closer view Gwadar city expected to be developed to international City and it also attain the importance of trade not for only Balochistan but for the china, Afghanistan, Central Asian countries like Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other Russian States and as a result Pakistan will be beneficiary of the huge profits through sea-trade activities.
Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) consists of the chairman, a Director General and a Governing body as well. The Governing body constitutes the two federal ministers, one provincial Minister, one district Nazim and an Additional Chief Secretary. If we discuss about the Real estate Pakistan than Gwadar present city which is only 800 meters long and just according to the Master Plan Gwadar will be 60 kilometers long and 40 kilometers wide. The GDA has issued NOC to 30 plus schemes for residential, commercial and industrial purposes. There are two Government schemes in Gwadar:-
1: Sangar Housing Scheme which is 13 kilometers long and 4.5 kilometers wide on a sand rock with in sea waters.
2. New Town Scheme which will be divided into four phases pertaining to 120 yards- 2000 yards plots each.
