Guidelines To Throwing A Memorable Beach Party

By:

Bonfire beach parties are so much fun, and you may have already planned for one in a particular beach for sale Cebu. The following is just a guideline on how to create one.

Permission

Before you decide to have your beach party, you need to make sure if the area, where you want your party to happen, allows for a bonfire. Some beaches do not allow this and you might not only have to cancel your party or end it too early, but have to pay a fine as well. Some beaches, too have designated areas for bonfires as well as a specific fire size and schedule for it.

Invitation

Decide if you want to have a theme for your beach party or just an impromptu gathering. If you do, some of the fun themes are Survivor, Hawaiian Luau, and Shipwreck themes. Based on your theme, make your invitations in such a way so your guests would know what theme you have and can wear a fitting attire for it. Some ways include a letter inside a bottle; logos of shells, Hibiscus flowers, or a great ship. Put in the venue of the party, the date, time, things you would like your guests to choose to bring, and an RSVP. Then, send them.

Fire Pit

Look for a clear section in the beach where you want to have your party and determine if the wind is strong. If it is, you might want to rethink about starting a fire. Strong winds will bring fire embers to other areas. Then, if it is safe, dig a hole that is about 12 to 18 inches deep and two to three feet wider than the fire you are planning to make. Place rocks at the bottom of the pit and on the ridge to keep the flame within the fire pit. Bring kindling or old newspapers; lighter and lighter fluid; and lots of firewood. Also, make sure to have a bucket handy to fill with water or sand to put out the flame. Although it is not too difficult to build a bonfire, you might want to make sure that there is someone in your party who knows how to make one.

Food, Drinks and Other Necessities

Choose the kinds of food that are not difficult to cook, but easy to eat, as well as those that can be served on room temperature. Try not to bring any glass bottles to the beach, instead, use plastic bottles and cups. In addition, don't forget to bring a cooler to keep the drinks cold, cooking utensils, silverwares, and things you think you will need for grilling or roasting. Also, make your guests comfortable by bringing chairs, mats, umbrellas and beach towels.

Entertainment

Plan the kind of fun games you would want. Some of the famous beach party games include limbo, relay races, truth or dare, beach volleyball and Frisbee. Then, when your guests arrive, you might want to welcome them by letting them wear a costume, like pretty flower lei's, scrunchy-themed key chain holders you can put on your arm, or flip flops. These things can also serve as party favors. You may also bring a CD player or radio for music if the party is a little formal.
