If you apply outside Australia and hold a passport for an ETA-eligible country, complete Form 48 (Application for Electronic Travel Authority eligible passport holders to visit Australia for tourism or other recreational activities
If you apply outside Australia and do not hold a passport for an ETA-eligible country, complete Form 48R (Application for general tourists to visit Australia for tourism or other recreational activities)
for minors under age 18 without one or both parents or legal guardians, complete a consent form signed by the non-accompanying parent or legal guardian - Form 1229 (Consent form to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years)
Medical or travel insurance

Evidence of financial position to your applicant or the person who is sponsoring (bank promises, pay slides, Form 16 at least for prior times 3 years, credit card balance)
