Also check what is recommended to burn. Some come with treated log sections which will burn for much longer than you would expect. Cheaper wood can be purchased now then stored for use a few months down the line.

What begins as a miserable and cold Winter can wind up being lovely and snug, cosy, romantic and fun. All that and costing a lot less than conventional heating methods of the day.
